The documentary tribute to musicians and organizations rewarded with Alícia Awards 2021, Els perfils d’Alícia, a production of Televisió de Catalunya, in coproduction with Digital Films for the Catalan Music Academy, will see the light of day emphasizing the singularities and its contribution to the music world of each and every awarded.
Els perfils d’Alícia offers a story about the creative, artistic, social and cultural values based from the personal and professional experiences of the eleven awarded.
The main voice of the documentary is lead by the own musicians and representatives figures of the collective projects: Joan Chamorro (Sant Andreu Jazz Band), Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Albert Guinovart, Àngel Casas, Sergi Cochs (Actúa Ayuda Alimenta Foundation), Rita Payés, Maria del Mar Bonet, Alberto Guijarro (Primavera Sound), Núria Andorrà and Marco Mezquida. Across this figures, the documentary orchestrates a fan of profiles who share details of its professional trajectory, revise the paths they’ve chosen and the success they’ve obtained since today. All by combining the interviews and stories of main characters with emotional musical fragments related with them.
Other distinguished appearances of Els perfils d’Alícia are the sculptress and painter Carme Solé Vendrell, creator of Alícia Awards statuette, and the Catalan Music Academy president Gerard Quintana, who gives the 2021 Trajectory Alícia Award to the renowned singer Maria del Mar Bonet.
After Catalan Music Academy and Digital Films presented the documentary in a pre-première in Cinemes Girona the past 23th of November, which counted with the presence of some of the film main characters and industry professionals, Els perfils d’Alícia arrives now at Televisió de Catalunya.
The première will be next 26th November at 22.15h in Canal 33 and during 5th December will be released in TV3. Afterwards it will be available in tv3alacarta site.
The film is coproduced by Televisió de Catalunya, Digital Films and Catalan Academy of Music, with the support of ICEC and the Culture Departament of Generalitat de Catalunya and the collaboration of RTVE, Diputació de Barcelona, SGAE, Sgae Foundation and AIE.
