This Saturday, November 19, we have lived with great excitement the premiere of the short film What We All Lack. Produced between Spain and the United States, the short film premiered this weekend at Avenida Production Studios in Los Angeles. We are very excited that this film, co-produced by UC Berkeley and Digital Films, can finally be shared with an international audience.

The film has been part of the official section of the Panamanian International Film Festival in Los Angeles (PIFF/LA), a festival that focuses on Hispanic and Latin American cinema. This year, in the 8th edition of the festival, What We All Lack premiered as part of a panel of selected short films.

Written and directed by Maria Serralvo, What We All Lack, inspired by the story of the surrealist photographers Man Ray and Lee Miller, invites us to reflect on our own relationships and the power dynamics behind them.

We want to thank the festival team for the premiere of the short film and congratulate the team involved in the film.

The short film is still awaiting the veredict of other festivals and therefore we cannot make it public yet. But if you are particularly interested in watching it, do not hesitate to ask us!
