Today we have woken up with great news: Digital Films has been selected to participate in Producers meet Producers european coproduction meetings of FIPADOC International Documentary Festival.
FIPADOC’s Industry Days team has organized this initiative designed exclusively for those documentary producers interested in international coproductions with the aim fostering new professional links at a European level.
Producers meet Producers is divided in three different sessions, each one focused in a European specific territory. Every session, mentored by three experienced matchmakers, gathers a group of French producers and another one from the selected territories:
Focus 2023 (Baltic countries and Finland): session conducted by Zane Balčus(Baltic Sea Docs, Latvia).
Visegrad (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary): session conducted by Zdenek Blaha (Institute of Documentary Films, Czech Republic).
Spain: session conducted by Diego Mas Trelles, (Docs Barcelona, Spain).
Alexis Borràs, Digital Film’s director, will take part in the session dedicated to Spain, where will happen the one-to-one meetings with French producers in order to present a feature documentary we are producing nowadays.
The International Documentary Festival celebrates its next edition from January 20th to 28th of 2023 in Biarritz and the proper session will take place on Thursday 26th between 9 and 11 AM in the Bellevue congress centre, within the framework of FIPADOC 2023 Industry Days (January 23th-26th).
The selection, done taking into consideration producers’ profile and the previously presented projects coproduction potential, makes possible the meeting between 6 Spanish producers and 6 French ones. Counting with the participation of Digital Films as the unique selected production company of Catalonia, among the six participants of the State.
